Saudi Arabia launched its official tourist e-visa in 2019, making it easy for eligible nationalities to visit. Apply through Atlygo by submitting your passport copy, photo, and completing the online form. Your e-visa is processed within 24–48 hours and delivered to your email. The visa must be linked to your passport and does not require a sticker or stamp.

Required documents include a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity), a recent passport-size photograph, and a completed online application form. Female travellers under 25 are no longer required to travel with a mahram (male guardian) — Saudi Arabia has updated its visa rules to welcome solo female travellers. No hotel booking or return ticket is mandatory for the e-visa application.

UAE residents holding a valid UAE residence visa (any category) can obtain a Saudi Arabia tourist e-visa without needing to return to their home country first. This is a significant convenience for the large expatriate community in the UAE. UAE residence visa holders can apply through Atlygo and receive their Saudi e-visa within 24–48 hours.

The Saudi Arabia tourist e-visa costs approximately USD 120–135 and includes complimentary travel insurance coverage for the duration of your stay — this is a unique benefit included with every Saudi tourist visa. The visa is valid for 1 year with multiple entries, allowing stays of up to 90 days per visit and a maximum of 180 days total per year.

The Saudi tourist e-visa is available to nationals of 49 eligible countries including the USA, UK, EU countries, Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, and many others. GCC citizens (UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar) can enter Saudi Arabia without a visa using their national ID card. Nationals of non-eligible countries may need to apply through a Saudi embassy.

Tourists entering Saudi Arabia must hold a valid tourist e-visa, a passport valid for at least 6 months, and respect local laws and customs. There is no strict dress code for tourists in public areas, though modest clothing is advised and required when visiting religious sites. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
